26th May 2006 Windsurfing: Cooden Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: waves Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: fun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Snuck down to Cooden, met up with PaulP and one or two (like 20) others ... did like what SB said and pontificated about what to rig ... fella out on 4.7m and evo74 looked maxxed out the back but bit marginal close in, then a lighter version of said fella went on an evo 74 & 4.5m and did much the same ... My gut feeling was to rig a 5.6m and go for a bigger board .... PaulP was of much the same mind ... in the end I rigged 5.0m & plugged into 3S 97 and PaulP went for 5.3m & Syncro 92 Nice session, bit iffy on the inside, but some nice waves and a good crowd to sail with ... got some big jumps in and did my regular wave session amount of swimming too Certainly made a change from the nukin 4.2m-4.7m sessions of late .... Camber tomorrow methinx |
